Where is my information stored?
Memories, photos, drawings, recordings, categories, and quiz progress are stored locally on your device. The app does not currently synchronize this information between devices.
How do I restore a deleted memory or category?
Open Settings → Trash, tap Select, choose the content you want, and tap the restore button.
How do I permanently delete something?
Open Settings → Trash, select the content, and tap the delete-forever button. The app asks for confirmation before permanently deleting it.
Why does the app request Camera, Photos, or Microphone access?
- Camera access lets you photograph a new memory.
- Photos access lets you choose an image or save a camera photo to your library.
- Microphone access lets you record spoken names and personal quiz questions.
These permissions are requested only when you use the related feature and can be changed in the Settings app.
Will deleting the app delete my memories?
Yes. The app stores its library locally, so removing the app removes that local data, subject to any device backups you control. If Save Camera Photos is enabled, copies in your Photos library remain separate from the app.
